A Player is either an AI or a user playing in a game. Players are numerically indexed and possess an index-specific Player color. Players own Units.

The Player class in League contains a static member called CurrentPlayer. This refers to the Player local to the machine, and is used by all of the local League engine. CurrentPlayer should always be used in the core, but never in Scripting, as it may cause desyncs in network play.
