The terrain on which a game takes place. A Map is programmatically generated from a bitmap file containing height data. This information is used to build a mesh of the terrain with a heightmap, as well as a Pathfinding grid. The map can contain (in future releases) things such as Start Positions, Unit placement, Scripting and customized SLK data.

Planned Make-up
A Map will be a Squall archive containing the terrain mesh and other data files for customized SLK data, Scripting and starting conditions. The game will read as many files as it can from the map, allowing map makers a large amount of flexibility to the game engine.
